I love your tangents.... don't smoke your mayo.
Not much of a lamb person but I've been known to do this with left over pork loin. I like to add cubanelle slices soaked in oil and cider vinegar with some garlic... yum.

Melissa - Funny you mention the little pickling method. I did this with mushrooms, onions and garlic soaked in lime and balsamic and salt over night.
